  1. Open Command Prompt and enter the following command: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

  2. Press enter to run the above command and wait for the process to complete, usually, it takes 15-20 minutes.   4. If by any reason it is changed to any other drive then enter the following commands and press Enter after each one: bcdedit /set {default} device partition=c: bcdedit /set {default} osdevice partition=c:
